Dr. Anny Shao is a highly skilled and compassionate practitioner, licensed by the state of New York as both an acupuncturist and herbalist. With a master’s degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine from Pacific College of Health and Science, she brings nearly two decades of experience in holistic healing to her practice. Dr. Shao specializes in treating a wide range of complex conditions, including gynecological issues, cancer support, and neurological and dermatological disorders, as well as offering effective pain management solutions. She is also deeply committed to helping patients manage anxiety and depression through the powerful yet gentle modalities of Chinese medicine.

Dr. Shao’s approach is rooted in the belief that true healing comes from treating the whole person—body, mind, and spirit. Dr. Olivia Choi is a licensed acupuncturist and board-certified herbalist, with an impressive educational background that includes a Doctorate in Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine from Pacific College of Health and Science, as well as advanced degrees in Public Health, Biochemical and Biomedical Sciences, and a Bachelor’s in Pharmacy of Chinese Medicine from Hong Kong.

With extensive experience in diverse clinical settings, including the Veteran Hospital and Columbia University Medical Center, Dr. Choi specializes in pain management, internal medicine, women’s health, fertility support, autoimmune care, facial rejuvenation, stroke rehabilitation, neurological conditions, and integrative cancer support.

Beyond her clinical expertise, Dr. Choi has over a decade of experience in regulatory affairs, contributing significantly to the Department of Health in Hong Kong, particularly during the COVID-19 outbreak. Her unique blend of clinical experience, academic excellence, and public health service allows her to deliver exceptional, well-rounded care to her patients at Grand Meridian Clinic.

 

 

Dr. Hong Wei Zhang

With over three decades of clinical experience, Dr. Hong Wei Zhang combines her expertise in both Eastern and Western medicine to offer a truly integrative approach to healthcare. She earned her medical degree in China and has since specialized in pain management, with a focus on conditions such as headaches, migraines, allergies, asthma, gastrointestinal disorders, menstrual and menopause-related issues, and cancer treatment support. Dr. Zhang also has extensive experience supporting patients undergoing IVF treatments, helping them achieve better outcomes.

Since 1996, Dr. Zhang has been a faculty member at the Pacific College of Health and Science, where she shares her deep knowledge with future practitioners. Fluent in English, Mandarin, and Japanese, Dr. Zhang is able to provide comprehensive, culturally sensitive care to a diverse patient base at Grand Meridian Clinic, making her a trusted leader in her field.

 

 

Dr. Venessa Lee

Dr. Venessa Lee is a licensed acupuncturist in New York and Connecticut and a board-certified herbalist through the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. She earned her Doctorate in Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine and Master of Science in Traditional Oriental Medicine from Pacific College of Health and Science.

Dr. Lee specializes in pain management, women’s health (fertility and menopause), integrative cancer support, stress and anxiety, sleep and digestion support, facial rejuvenation and microneedling, with a focus on restoring balance and supporting the body’s natural healing abilities. Her approach integrates the principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine with modern clinical understanding to deliver individualized, patient-centered care that addresses both the root cause and symptoms of imbalance.

Originally from Hong Kong, Dr. Lee brings a deep appreciation for traditional healing practices alongside an understanding of the physical and emotional demands of modern life. Her clinical training includes experience at NYU Langone Health, BronxCare Hospital Center, Institute for Family Health, and Columbia University Health Services, where she treated a wide range of conditions including chronic pain, women’s health concerns, autoimmune disorders, and stress-related conditions.

Dr. Lee serves as a clinic supervisor at Pacific College of Health and Science, mentoring future practitioners in integrative and evidence-informed care. She is fluent in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese.

 

 

Dr. Andy Boehm

Andy Boehm, L.Ac. is a licensed acupuncturist and clinical herbalist who provides individualized care rooted in compassion, attentive listening, and personalized treatment. Drawing from his own experience with Chinese medicine, he is dedicated to helping patients achieve sustained health by addressing both symptoms and underlying patterns of imbalance. His areas of focus include pain management, digestive health, TCM dermatology, women’s health, menopausal support, and mental-emotional well-being.


A graduate of Pacific College of Health and Science and a doctoral student at Yo San University, Andy is trained in both Eastern and Western herbal medicine, including a year-long internship at Arbor Vitae School of Traditional Herbalism. He has also worked with the team at Kamwo Herbal Pharmacy for over two years, gaining extensive experience in traditional Chinese herbal medicine and customized herbal prescriptions.

OUR LOCATION

Visit Us at the Heart of New York. Grand Meridian Clinic is located inside Kamwo’s Dispensary, at 211 Grand St, NY 10013.

 

Since 1993, Grand Meridian Clinic has partnered with the Pacific College of Health Sciences in New York to provide an externship opportunity for senior MSTOM students. Students follow Hong Wei Zhang (L.Ac, MSTOM), and treat patients under her guidance.
All acupuncture interns are in their final year of clinical rotations and work under the supervision of a licensed acupuncturist in an academic clinical environment. Our PCHS Student Clinic appointments are low-cost, and are an easy way for us to bring this medicine to a wider segment of the community.

Appointments are limited.
Student interns are only available on Mondays (1pm - 5pm).
