RAW HERBS

Kamwo carries over 500 raw herbs, available as bulk stock or for custom formulas, including traditionally prepared Pao Zhi herb options.  Premium herbs are carefully selected and verified for correct species and geo-authenticity. Upon receipt, each herb must pass inspection for proper identification, maturity, and high quality.

 

Every batch is tested for heavy metals, pesticide residues, and microbial contamination. Innovative techniques in preservation and packaging ensure a product free from sulfur dioxide fumigation and other preservatives.

GRANULE HERBS

Our Meridian Pro granules line offers a complete selection of products including classic formulas in loose powder or capsules, single herb granules, and Pao Zhi single herb granules. Kamwo’s granule dispensary carries over 600 single herbs and formulas combined. Our pao zhi selection affords practitioners the same level of sophistication when writing granule formulas as when writing for raw herbs.

 

All raw materials are carefully selected and laboratory tested using High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) to verify standardization of all herb identification.

 

Each granule is tested by our GMP-certified manufacturer for microbes and heavy metals such as Lead, Cadmium, Mercury and Arsenic. Our granules are also tested for organochlorine pesticides such as DDT and BHC using only the most stringent, certified testing techniques. All testing standards exceed the required standards of China, Taiwan, and the United States Pharmacopeia (USP) for heavy metals. Certificates of Analysis are provided to us by the manufacturer. Through the exclusive sourcing of sulfur-free herbs for our granules we are helping to raise the industry standard, ensuring that patients receive only the finest quality herbs.

The incipient for our granule herbs is gluten-free maltodextrin.

TEAPILLS

Our Meridian Classics Teapills line, developed by TCM practitioners and Western biomedical experts, comprises over 140 traditional and modern formulas. Each and every batch is laboratory tested by our GMP-certified manufacturer. After meeting international safety guidelines, the formulas are regularly tested in the US by Eurofins Central Analytical Laboratories for pesticide residues, heavy metals and microbes. Bottles feature FDA/GMP compliant labels (complete with Supplement Facts panel) that also highlight potential allergen and dietary concerns.

 

Our teapills are not sugar coated. We use talc (Hua Shi) for the teapill body, which is then coated with the herbal formula paste, and sealed with botanical wax.
