Dr. Leung is the Founder of Kamwo Herbs Inc., located in New York City. His grandfather, Yingyuan Leung, began a Chinese Medicine lineage from the late Qing Dynasty while his father, Huidao Leung, provided tutelage to Dr. Leung as a Chinese Medicine doctor in Hong Kong. Dr. Leung has over forty years’ experience in practicing Chinese herbs and wrote two books entitled “Guide to Healthy Living for the Chinese in North America” and “The Potent Man’s Guide to Chinese Herbs, Food, Drink”.
He is also the chairman of the Association of Chinese Herbalists and a member of the Council Board of the World Federation of Chinese Medicine Societies. Dr. Leung has nearly 40 years of clinical experience in dermatology. His creams have been utilized for years in the Chinese community because of their high quality and high level of success.

Thomas is currently the owner of Kamwo Herbs. He has earned a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from the State University of New York at Buffalo and a Bachelor of Professional Studies and a Master of Science in Traditional Oriental Medicine from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine. He is a fourth generation TCM practitioner and has been schooled in Chinese Medicine since childhood. Mr. Leung’s background in Pharmacology and Chinese Medicine allows him to have a unique perspective on TCM and often regarded by others as a bridge between TCM and western medicine. Mr. Leung has been a member of Pacific College Herbs Faculty since 2001.

Joey is responsible for formulating and aligning Kamwo WEB strategy with business initiatives. Leading the Kamwo team, he successfully establishes the company's WEB presence through new services such as Kamwo Practitioners Online and Kamwo's Online Store.

Judy has been with Kamwo for over 10 years. She is responsible for overseeing the day to day operations and customer service at Kamwo Meridian Herbs.
L.Ac., MD (China), Grand Meridian Practitioner
Yong is a graduate of Tongji Medical College in Wuhan, and Beijing Traditional Chinese Medical College in Beijing, China; as well as a Scholarship recipient in the Department of Clinical Pharmacology, Royal Postgraduate Medical School in London, England. He holds the position of Chief Acupuncturist/Coordinating Manager for Harlem Hospital Center's Psychiatric Department Chemical Dependency Program. He brings with him more than 50 years clinical experience.
L.Ac., MD (China), Grand Meridian Practitioner
Dr. Li has been practicing acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine for 15 years. She is a NCCAOM Diplomat in both Acupuncture and Chinese Herbology and is licensed in New York and New Jersey. Dr. Li graduated from Beijing Medical University and New York College of TCM. She is trained in both Chinese and Western medicine. Dr. Li specializes in the treatment of intractable diseases, which include but not limited to allergies, refractory skin disease, male and female disorders, and anxiety and depression. Dr. Li’s passion for her work is reflected in her complete commitment to her patient’s well being.

A native New Yorker, Jerry studied at and received a Master of Science in Traditional Oriental Medicine (MSTOM) from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine. As a practitioner, he treats patients for plethora of conditions and illnesses, with a special interest in digestive and sleeping issues. In addition to practicing in Grand Meridian, he also leads tours at Kamwo Meridian Herbs, educating demographics that range from 3rd graders to college students as well as the general public in Chinese medicine and acupuncture knowledge.

Hong Wei Zhang graduated from the Heilongjiang University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in 1990. She has been a teacher, researcher and practitioner of Traditional Chinese Medicine in China, Japan and the United States for over 25 years. Her specialties include treatment of HIV, cancer, gynecology and neurological disorders.

Mandy is in charge of the customer service team that handles the processing of prescription orders. She is the person that makes sure that your prescription is filled quickly and accurately. Mandy is a graduate of Pace University with a hotel management degree.
Jenny has been with Kamwo Herbs for over 10 years. She oversees the mail order department and makes sure that each order is filled and shipped out on schedule.

Vicky has over 8 years of experience as a medical technican in China before working with Kamwo. She operates Kamwo's Granule Accu-Check System, the first and most accurate filling system in TCM.
Senior Dispensary Technician
Jian has professional pharmacy training in China and has over 10 years experience in Zhenjiang before joining Kamwo’s dispensary staff. He oversees the filling of herbal formulas and quality control.
Run Sheng has joined our professional dispensary team in 2004. He has extensive training and work experience in GuangZhou province. His work experience is exemplary of our dispensary team’s commitment to quality.
Herbs Warehouse Manager
Run Xiong conducts many of the back of house duties that we rely upon to keep our dispensary running. Some of his duties includes: the cleaning, cutting, processing, pao zhi processing, powdering, etc. He is in charge of passing on the Kamwo tradition.
