Recently studied medicinal actions of mushrooms include antitumor, immunomodulating, antioxidant, radical scavenging, cardiovascular, antihypercholesterolemic, antiviral, antibacterial, anti‑parasitic, antifungal, detoxicating, hepatoprotective, and antidiabetic effects.
